2018 La Petite Vanguardist Pet-Nat (Petit Manseng) Clare Valley (SA)

Made via the Petilant-naturel method of making wines sparkle, this has come to be fizz via a secondary fermentation in bottle using the natural yeast and sugar already present in the wine – the stuff left over from the first unfinished fermentation. Riddled and disgorged by hand, this method requires patience and nuanced skill. Fruit and yeasty leesy notes balance beautifully in this park smasher.

2018 Jamsheed ‘Hippy Flip’ Pet-Nat (Chardonnay/Riesling) Yarra Valley/Mansfield (VIC)

Barrell fermented Yarra Valley Chardonnay meets Mansfield Riesling in this sequel to the wildly popular ‘Candy Flip’. Made for the party times, a beautiful balance of fruit and leesy characters by Yarra Valley Maestro Gary Mills of Jamsheed fame.

2018 Minim ‘Patsy’ (Vermentino/Fiano) Central Victoria (VIC)

From one half of the Boomtown Co-Op, this is a lean, razor sharp, savoury expression of Merebin/Colbinabbin Fiano (Chalmers) and Redesdale Vermentino (Ruperts Ridge). Relax, pour this, and watch the sun go down over a glorious vista.

2018 Das Juice Cabernet Franc, Robe (Sa)

From vineyards in South Australia’s South-Eastern corner, this wine was made by Jordy Kay in his Otway’s hideaway. If you like the wines of Chinon from France’s Loire Valley, you will love this fresh and crunchy expression of Cabernet Franc. Best chilled.

2018 Mac Forbes ‘EB42’ (Pinot Meunier) Yarra Valley (VIC)

From Mac’s experimental series, God this is delicious! So fresh, so clean, so juicy and plump in its fruit profile. Mouth-watering acidity finishes this wine’s resume as the number one employee for each and every park party! Quenching refreshment for the Summer months.

2018 Dirty Black Denim ‘Novello’ (Sangiovese) Heathcote (VIC)

Those Scanlon brothers are two of our favourite winemaking pirates! The wines they make are always delicious, fun and designed to be drunk in the park alongside revelry. This wine continues with this ethos, presenting Heathcote Sangiovese in a ‘Novello’ style that is bursting with fresh red fruits and lively acidity.
